With the wind forecast for the middle of the day I was able to get to the beach at approx 3 and arrived at the same time as Neil Hurrell.With the wind gauge reading 18 to 22 kts I went for 7.5 with the xantos which was perfect to start with.I went for a fast mile first and ended up in front of kiter beach in a great rolling swell,I was having great fun and was on course to better my best hour average when the wind just switched off and turned offshore :( So I floundered ashore at golf beach de-rigged and Neil helped me carry my gear back.We looked at the manor but it was really off and with no wind forecast for the weekend that could be it for a few days :(
